Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, executing, and optimizing performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for enterprise-grade applications.

Job Requirements:

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain reusable performance test scripts and frameworks for load, stress, spike, soak, and scalability testing.
• Analyze application performance bottlenecks across UI, services, APIs, middleware, databases, and infrastructure layers.
• Work closely with developers, architects, DevOps, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Define performance baselines, SLAs, SLOs, and benchmarking criteria for critical business applications.
• Execute tests for:
  • Load Testing
  • Stress Testing
  • Endurance/Soak Testing
  • Volume Testing
  • Scalability Testing
  • Spike Testing
• Monitor server-side and application-side metrics such as:
  • CPU
  • Memory
  • Disk I/O
  • Network utilization
  • Thread usage
  • JVM/.NET metrics
  • Database waits and locks
  • API response times
• Correlate results from APM, logs, infrastructure monitoring, and test execution reports to identify root causes.
• Prepare detailed performance test plans, workload models, execution reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left performance engineering practices.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to provide performance engineering recommendations early in the development lifecycle.
• Validate system readiness for production releases and support capacity planning activities.
• Collaborate in cloud and distributed environments to assess scalability and resilience.
• Support performance validation for microservices, APIs, containers, and cloud-native applications.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
• Strong experience in testing enterprise applications, distributed systems, web applications, APIs, and microservices-based architectures.
• Experience in working with Agile / Scrum / DevOps environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology or related field.
• Performance testing certifications such as:
  • LoadRunner Certification
  • JMeter-related expertise
  • Cloud / DevOps certifications (good to have)
• Experience in banking, insurance, telecom, healthcare, retail, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to capacity planning, resilience testing, and chaos/performance engineering is highly desirable.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SRE practices
• Exposure to observability platforms
• Experience with service virtualization
• Knowledge of shift-left performance engineering
• Experience with security/performance overlap testing
• Understanding of production performance monitoring and tuning
