Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL and database management, performance tuning etc processes.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience of analyzing, integrating, modelling, and interpreting large volumes of complex data from multiple sources and technologies
• Minimum of 2+ years of working experience with Snowflake as a cloud Data Warehouse and data lake service
• Experience in advanced snowflake topics like RBAC, Dynamic tables, optimization techniques
• Obvious track record of designing and implementing ETL data pipelines using tools like dbt with Snowflake as Cloud Data Warehouse,
• Working experience of building lean and efficient data transformation pipelines using dbt (data build tool) at advanced level
• Exposed to ETL/ELT and data governance tools (incl. FiveTran, Alation)
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, data modelling and data warehousing in a variety of database technologies
• Working experience in cloud
• Ability to present and communicate to varied users (technical and non-technical)
• Inept understanding of orchestration using Apache Airflow or MWAA and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrable career history working with and delivering high volume Data Warehousing solutions is essential
• Experience in AWS EMR,MapR distribution,python,spark sql

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience  
• Certifications: AWS Cloud
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a team environment.
